300 Games That Make Chinese

Built on the same characters as the Le Le Chinese reading system
Swap "Do I have to?" for "Can I play one more?"

🎮Your child isn't failing to learn. They just haven't seen the character enough times yet.
Le Le is built on one idea: lots of meaningful listening and reading. A child first hears and reads a character in a story. Then they meet it again, in new places, until the shape, sound and meaning click together.
Le Le 300 Fun Games hides that repetition inside 300 levels — matching, word hunts, mazes, challenges. Every level brings back characters your child already met in the books, in a fresh way. Thirty minutes of play can mean seeing 100 characters five times each.
Read → Play → Read Again
The games grew out of the Le Le Chinese reading system. They don't replace the books — they make your child want to pick up the next one.
Read a lot
with the Le Le books
Read Red, Yellow or Green books together for 15–30 minutes a day, so your child hears and reads every character many times. This is the foundation everything else stands on.
Play 10–20 minutes
Le Le 300 Fun Games
Your child meets the same characters again across 300 games — recognising, recalling and locking them in. One more lap in the brain, one layer deeper in memory.
Go back to the books
read more, read deeper
The familiarity built in the games pulls your child back to the next book on their own. This is the "reading loop" Le Le parents tell us about most.
💡The games reinforce. The books are the main course.
The Le Le Chinese reading system is what builds your child's Chinese. The 300 games help every character from the books stick — and they turn "I have to read" into "I want to read."

Same Characters, 10 Ways to Play
Each game shows the same character from a new angle — that's how Le Le builds reading recognition.

Not Just Fun — the Right Method

Lots of reading × shape, sound and meaning × instant feedback
Most Chinese games for kids focus on writing, spelling or tracing. They break characters into parts — and interrupt the way children naturally learn to recognise them. Le Le 300 Fun Games works differently. It builds on what your child has already heard and read in the Le Le books.

"My biggest struggle was getting him to read more Chinese books. Once he started the games, he'd go back to the Red books to find the characters he'd seen. Read, play, read again — it became a natural loop."
"She used to stop after one book. Now when she sees a familiar character in a game, she asks, 'Which book is this from?' and pulls the book out herself. It's not just more characters — she's using more words and sentences when she speaks, too."
"I use the games as a follow-up after reading. Students read lots of stories, then review the words through play — and come back the next week keener to read something new. Within a few weeks their reading is smoother and their spoken vocabulary and grammar are fuller."
Before You Join
Do I need to download an app?
No. The games run in any browser — Chrome, Safari or Edge. You can also log in through the Le Le app to play all 300 games.
Can my child play without the Le Le books?
Yes, but we strongly recommend using them with the Le Le Chinese reading system. The games are built on the books' content: your child meets a character in a story first, then recognises it again in the games. That "read → reinforce → read again" loop is where the results come from.
What age is it for?
At Le Le, we encourage waiting until age 7 before using tablets, so we don't recommend the games for children under 7. For younger kids, reading physical books together comes first.
Can more than one child use one account?
Yes. One family account covers every child living in your home. Siblings of different ages can each start at their own level — Red, Yellow or Green.
What's the difference between Traditional and Simplified?
The games are the same — only the character style changes. Choose one at the top of this page before adding to cart. If your family needs both, you can add the second version at a discount — email admin@lelechinese.com.
How long should my child play each day?
We recommend 10–20 minutes a day. Five days in a row beats one hour once. Short, frequent sessions let your child see the characters from the books again and again — the best rhythm for shape, sound and meaning to truly connect. Play longer on weekends if you like; a 10-minute weekday routine is plenty.
How long does it take to finish all 300 games?
Most families take 6–12 months to go through all 300 levels — and every level can be replayed. Replaying is the point: playing one level 10 times works better than playing 10 levels once.
Is this a subscription?
No. You pay once — no subscription, no renewals and no surprise charges later.
Can I get a refund?
Digital products are non-refundable.
