Matched to the vocabulary in the Le Le Chinese reading system
Swap "Do I have to?" for "One more time!"

🎮Your child isn't failing to learn. They just haven't seen each character enough times yet.
The heart of Le Le is plenty of meaningful listening and reading. A child first hears and reads a character in a book. Then they meet it again in different settings. That is how the shape, sound and meaning slowly connect.
Le Le 300 Fun Games hides that repetition inside 300 levels: matching, character hunts, mazes, challenges and treasure hunts. In every level, a character your child already met in the books shows up again in a new way. 30 minutes of play is like seeing 100 characters 5 times over.
Read → Play → Read again
Le Le 300 Fun Games grew out of the same idea as the Le Le Chinese reading system. The games don't replace reading. They are the nudge that makes your child want to pick up one more book.
Lots of listening and reading
with the Le Le books
Spend 15 to 30 minutes a day beside your child with the Red, Yellow and Green Books, so they hear and read every character many times. This is the core of Le Le, and everything else builds on it.
10 to 20 minutes of
Le Le 300 Fun Games
Characters from the books come back in 300 games, to be met again, read again and absorbed. One more lap around a little brain, one layer deeper in memory.
Back to the books
on their own
The familiarity built up in the games pushes your child to open the next book. Le Le parents tell us about this positive reading loop more than anything else.
💡The games are for reinforcement. They are not the main course.
The Le Le Chinese reading system is where your child's Chinese is really built. The 300 game levels are the best way to give the characters from the books one more lap around a little brain. They are also what turns "I have to read" into "I want to read".
Game levels that follow the Red, Yellow and Green Books
100 games in each level, step by step. Whichever book your child is reading, that's the level they play.

Intermediate · Yellow: Using characters

The same characters, 10 ways to play
Each type of game shows your child the same character from a new angle. That is how Le Le children learn to read through reading.

More than fun. It's the right method.

Lots of listening and reading × shape, sound and meaning together × instant feedback
Most Chinese games are about writing, spelling or tracing. Those methods break characters into parts, and that interrupts the natural rhythm of learning to recognize them. Le Le 300 Fun Games is different. It builds on the fact that your child has already listened to and read the Le Le books many times.

"My biggest worry used to be how to get my son to read more Chinese books. Once he started Le Le 300 Fun Games, he'd go back and open the Red Books himself so he could find the characters in the games. Read, play, read again. Chinese reading suddenly had a very natural rhythm."
"My child used to want to stop after one book. Now, when a familiar character comes up in a game, they ask, 'Which book is this one in?' and go and get the book to read again. The biggest change isn't only recognizing characters. They use more words and fuller sentences when they speak, too."
"I use Le Le 300 Fun Games as a follow-up to reading. My students read lots of stories first, then review the words with games, and the next week they come back keener to read new books. After a few weeks I can see them reading more smoothly, with fuller vocabulary and grammar when they speak."
What you'll want to know before ordering
Do I need to download an app?
No. Le Le 300 Fun Games runs online. Open it in any browser (Chrome, Safari, Edge) and play. You can also log in through the Le Le app and play all 300 games there.
Can my child play without the Le Le Chinese reading system books?
Yes, but we strongly recommend using the games together with the Le Le Chinese reading system. The games are built around the books. Your child sees a character in a book first, then reads it again in a game. That creates the full loop of reading, reinforcing and reading again, and that is when character recognition grows best.
What age can my child start playing?
At Le Le, we encourage families to wait until age 7 before children use a tablet, so we don't recommend the games for children under 7. For younger children, we suggest reading plenty of physical books first.
Can more than one child use the same account?
Yes. One family account can be used by any number of children living in the same home. Children of different ages can each start at the level that matches their reading: Red, Yellow or Green.
What's the difference between Traditional and Simplified? Can we use both?
The games are the same. Only the written characters differ. Choose one when you order. If your family is learning both scripts, you can add the second version at a discounted price. Please email admin@lelechinese.com.
How long should my child play each day?
We suggest 10 to 20 minutes a day. Five days in a row beats one hour in one sitting. Short and often lets your child see the characters they've heard and read in the books a few more times in the games. That is the best rhythm for truly linking shape, sound and meaning. Play a little longer on weekends, and keep a steady 10-minute routine on weekdays.
How long does it take to finish all 300 games?
Every level can be replayed as many times as you like. Playing through all 300 levels takes about 6 to 12 months, but the games are designed to be replayed. Playing one level 10 times does more than playing 10 levels once each.
Will my subscription renew automatically?
No. The annual subscription is a single payment for 12 months of access. We'll email you a reminder before it ends, but we won't charge you automatically. You decide whether to continue for another year.
Can I get a refund?
Digital products are non-refundable.
